Create Eclipse!
A program presented by Drawing Lab × Paris 8 University × ROVEN
Playing with images, transforming them, repurposing them, or making them disappear… For one afternoon, the Drawing Lab invites the public to take a fresh look at the exhibition *Eclipse: Drawing Through Photography*.
Meetings, tours, and a drawing workshop will be the highlights of this program, developed in collaboration with Paris 8 University and the magazine ROVEN.
Three events to explore the exhibition in a whole new way!
A Different Perspective on the Exhibition
Students from the Photography Department at Paris 8 University, under the guidance of Emil Sennewald, are taking the lead in the Drawing Lab’s educational programs and offering continuous tours to share their perspectives on the exhibition.
Meeting Artists and Their Artwork
Jérémie Setton, Pascal Navarro, and Daphné Nan Le Sergent will discuss their artistic practices during a discussion moderated by Johana Carrier and Marine Pagès of ROVEN magazine. A screening of videos by Gwenola Wagon will round out the event. Jérémie Setton will also be signing copies of his new monograph, published by Manuella.
Experiment and Discover in a New Way
Anne Favier, the exhibition’s curator, invites the public to a carbon paper drawing workshop inspired by Fabienne Ballandras’s technique. Using everyday photographs or a personal photo they bring themselves, participants will be able to create their own drawing.
