From the field to the studio: the making of the works.

Meeting between Sophie Pène, Professor Emeritus at the University of Paris Cité, Lauriane Gricourt, Curator at Les Abattoirs, Musée-FRAC Occitanie and Noémie Sauve.

In 2017, Noémie Sauve embarked on board the schooner Tara for her first scientific expedition, which welded the link between the field, science and her artistic practice.

In 2022, she collaborated with Sophie Pène and Benjamin Graindorge, curators of the exhibition “Le Monde Sinon Rien”, presented at the Biennale Internationale de Design de Saint Étienne, around a dialogue between art, design and ecological transformations. With Lauriane Gricourt, a member of the Enoki Collective, she leads a joint reflection on agriculture and food. This discussion will look back on this journey with these two guests who will share their vision of an artistic practice anchored in fields of inquiry.
