Benjamin L. Aman is a graduate of the Ecole nationale supérieure d’art de Nancy. His work has been shown many times in France and abroad in solo and group exhibitions, sound performances (Berlin Biennale VI, Club Transmediale and Transmediale X, Mex Series in Dortmund, Nu Substance in Bandung, Indonesia…) and radio programs (The Wire on Air and Resonance FM in London…).
Co-founder in 2010 of the Sleep Disorders duo with artist Marion Auburtin, he also heads up the Razzle Dazzle music label, on which he regularly publishes his own work as well as that of other artists working at the frontiers of the visual and the sonic.
A large body of his drawings has already been the subject of a monographic publication by Editions P. and Editions Manucius, as well as an acquisition by the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain in Paris and the Frac Occitanie Montpellier.
His latest album, La Ligne d’ombre appeared in 2017, published in collaboration with Les Instants Chavirés in Montreuil. He is also the 2018 winner of the Eeckman Prize at the Art on Paper fair in Brussels.
