Susanna Inglada graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and spent part of her studies as part of the Erasmus program at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam (NL). She then obtained a Master’s degree at the Frank Mohr Institute in Groningen (NL) and a post-graduate diploma at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK) in Belgium.

Over the course of her career, Susanna has participated in numerous international artist residencies, including HISK (BE), Halle 14 (Leipzig, DE), Kunst & Complex (Rotterdam, NL), La Embassy (Mexico, MEX), Frans Masereel Centrum (BE), 18th Street Arts Center (Los Angeles, USA), DordtYart (Dordrecht, NL), EKWC (NL), Akademie Schloss Solitude (DE) and Royal Spanish Academy in Rome (IT).

Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Museum Folkwang (DE), Drawing Center Diepenheim (NL), Kunsthal Rotterdam (NL), Art Rotterdam (NL), 18th Street Arts Center (USA), Dordrechts Museum (NL) and Arti et Amicitiae (NL), among others. She has also taken part in group shows at La Casa Encendida (ES), Azkuna Zentroa (ES), Emil Filla Gallery (CZ), Museum Cobra Amersfoort (NL), Centraal Museum Utrecht (NL), Biennale Into Nature Drenthe (NL), Biennale St Denijs (BE), Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (NL) and BOZAR (BE).

 

 

Susanna Inglada has received several awards and honors, including the 2ᵉ Guasch Coranty Painting Prize (ES, 2018), the Generaciones Prize (ES, 2019), the Scheffer Prize from the Dordrechts Museum (NL, 2020) and the Montresso Marrakesh Award (MAR, 2023). She has also been nominated for the George Verbergstipendium (2013), the Groningen Museum Award (2021) and the Drawing Now Award (2025). Her work has been supported by institutions such as the Mondriaan Fund, the Nijmeijer Fund, AECID and Fundación Monte Madrid. She is represented by Galerie Maurits van de Laar (NL).
