Maëlle Ledauphin

French, born in 1999

# Workshop #13

Maëlle Ledauphin, born in 1999, works in Saint-Ouen. In 2024, she graduated from TALM Le Mans. Her practice focuses mainly on painting and drawing with oil pastels, whose materiality blurs the boundaries between these two media. She draws on a multitude of registers, using them as theoretical and iconographic “clutches” to create compositions in which popular culture, sacred art and children’s drawings coexist without hierarchy. Her work has been shown in galleries (Mendes Wood DM in Brussels, Sultana in Arles and Double V in Paris and Marseille) and in group and solo exhibitions in art centers (Villa Noailles in Toulon, ZOO art center in Nantes and Piacé-Le-Radieux for her first solo show in 2025). After a residency at the Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud, as part of the Les Affluentes program (TALM), she presents her second solo show there.
