Françoise Pétrovitch
Born in 1964 in Paris, France
Lives and works in Cachan, France
She regularly takes part in solo exhibitions in France and abroad. In 2018, she is the first contemporary artist to benefit from a monographic exhibition at the Louvre-Lens. In recent years, Françoise Pétrovitch has created monumental wall drawings, as well as very large ensembles, such as for the Galerie des enfants at the Centre Pompidou and for the Ballets du Nord.
Her work can be found in numerous public and private collections, including the Centre Pompidou (FR), the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC (US), the Museums of Modern and Contemporary Art in Saint-Étienne (FR) and Strasbourg (FR), the MAC VAL (FR), numerous regional contemporary art funds, as well as the Salomon and Guerlain Foundations, the Hélène and Édouard Leclerc Fund and the Emerige Endowment Fund.
