La nuit se dessine la nuit
Artist news
Press release
We are pleased to invite you to discover the world of Camila Eslava artist from Drawing Factory II, alongside five artists presented by the Consulat Voltaire.
The tour unfolds in three distinct areas.
On the mezzanine floor, a series of drawings entitled Les Astres, mes ancêtres reveals a subtle dialogue between the chemical reactions of inks and celestial phenomena. In these works, the material seems to come alive, evoking the night sky populated by stars and invisible movements. The artist inscribes her gesture, guided by the mystery of the sky and the depth of night.
In the basement, the organic Inlevarium is activated at regular intervals: a projection of fermenting liquid leaven, a living, evolving work whose slow rhythm follows that of the living. In an adjoining room, the film Animus, created from a drawing on a long roll of paper, appears at intervals throughout the exhibition.
Together, they form a sensitive journey between the infinitely small and the infinitely large, revealing the secret connections between microscopic phenomena and the vast expanses of the heavens.
When night falls and the horizon fades, another vision of the world awakens, illuminated by the stars and carried by Camila Eslava‘s imagination.
The vernissage will take place on April 2 at 7pm at the exhibition address.
