DRAWING PERFORMANCES: Georgia Sagri

Thursday, January 15, 2026, 7pm: in Gone Gone Beyond, the first chapter of which was presented in 2025 at the Gothenburg Biennale in Sweden, Georgia Sagri stages a performance with an inflatable sculpture to explore the rupture of mourning. Breath – audible, sculptural, affective – becomes the marker of the boundary between presence and disappearance. Inspired by the poet Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke, she examines how grief destabilizes and recomposes identity, activating a cycle of tension, release and transformation between body and sculpture.
