DRAWING PERFORMANCES: Christine Herzer

Saturday, January 31, 2026, 11am to 10pm: Christine Herzer draws endlessly, non-stop, on a wide range of media: sheets of paper, windows, magazines or the programs of shows she attends. In her work, writing and drawing are constantly intertwined, merging and separating, only to come together again.

With an extreme sensitivity to everything around her, to everything she sees and encounters, to people and world events, Christine Herzer composes lists and clouds of words that flow through her, she writes and draws universes of thoughts, shocks, reactions, crushes.

She’ll be at the Drawing Lab all day Saturday, greeting spectators with drawings, exchanging readings, writings, questions, intense thoughts and postcards.
