Claire Vaudey
Claire Vaudey, born in 1984 and a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, is developing a practice on the edge of drawing and painting, which she explores through the sensibility of paper. She works around architectural spaces and figurative scenes, often traversed by the idea of the garden, not as a motif but as a symbolic presence. Her practice mobilizes techniques from a variety of registers-from tempera painting to more contemporary processes such as silkscreening, laser cutting and 3D printing. She was recently in residence at the Boghossian Foundation and the Maeght Foundation as part of Maeght édition, and collaborates with Galerie Dilecta in Paris.
