Gabriel Folli graduated from the UFR des Arts d’Amiens in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Art Theories and Practices, Plastic Arts option, under the direction of Ghislaine Vappereau and Jean-François Robic. His work has been shown in France and internationally at institutions such as the Heuser Art Center, Peoria (US), Centro de Artes UFF, Niterói (BRA), Musée d’Art de Toulon (FR), BOZAR – Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels (B), and Carreau du Temple, Paris (FR).
Gabriel was awarded an Aide individuelle à la création by the DRAC Hauts-de-France in 2018 and by the Conseil Régional des Hauts-de-France in 2019 for his research project L’Aisne Nouvelle – Aisne Street Projects focused on studying the recent history of his home department, the Aisne, located in Picardy. His first monographic catalog Daily Archaeology was published in 2018 with the support of Galerie Artitude (Brussels), on the occasion of the ART ON PAPER contemporary drawing fair at BOZAR in Brussels. Lastly, in 2017 he created Private Place Project, an independent curatorial project focused on reflecting on what our relationship to exhibitions and images is today.
