Galerie Jean-Louis Ramand
A 2016 graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier (MO.CO ESBA), Marie Havel was named winner of the Drawing Room 2016 young creation grant in Montpellier and then of the Premier Prix Ddessin in Paris in 2017. Her work has since been shown in a number of solo and group exhibitions, including at fairs such as Bienvenue Art Fair (2019), Luxembourg Art Week (2019), Art Paris Art Fair (2018) and DDessin (2017, 2018).
She recently exhibited her work in the group shows “Le Bal des Survivances” at the FRAC Occitanie Montpellier as the winner of the 2019 Post-Production program, and “Recyclage / Surcyclage” at the Fondation Villa Datris in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. In 2020 she benefited from the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso X Cité Internationale des Arts Paris residency program, succeeded by her latest solo exhibition “Die and Retry” with Galerie Jean-Louis Ramand in Paris in February 2021. Since 2017, she has been collaborating regularly with visual artist Clément Philippe in the creation of joint works and exhibitions.
