Trash to Treasure

Press release
Tatiana Wolska presents a solo exhibition of sculptures and drawings exploring the theme of obsolescence and waste. Her work focuses on the rehabilitation of discarded materials, transforming neglected objects into works of art. Her childhood in Poland, marked by scarcity and reuse, as well as her experience in a consumer society, feed this artistic approach.
Wolska recovers abandoned materials such as wood, garbage and bottles, which she transforms by carving, sanding or welding. Her wooden sculptures, such as Chaise décomposée and Serpent et Spirale, reveal organic, dynamic forms. In her Modules series, she creates colorful balls from used water bottles, combining beauty and functionality.
The exhibition, entitled Trash To Treasure, continues his exploration of materials and their hidden potential, and follows his previous exhibitions, including Leisure As Resistance and his participation in the Gangwon International Triennale.
