HEAD-BODY-HEART
Artist news
Press release
The exhibition HEAD-BODY-HEART by Chloé Dugit-Gros, presented by Rurart in coproduction with the Centre d’art contemporain La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc in Thouars, invites the public on an immersive journey into a territory of transition. Inspired by Alain Guiraudie’s novel
The title of the exhibition, borrowed from a teaching method, echoes a holistic approach to learning, but also a magic formula inviting us to dream of escape. The exhibition opens with a curtain of truck tarpaulins, both screen and boundary, evoking the rural landscape while deconstructing its traditional representation. Through acidic shapes and colors, the artist offers an offbeat, painterly vision of the world, somewhere between figuration and abstraction. HEAD-BODY-HEART is an invitation to leave the beaten path and explore new horizons, both personal and collective.
