Dialogue with the Albers-Honegger collection, Anni & Josef Albers Foundation

For this new cycle of re-readings of the Albers-Honegger collection, the eac. invites seven international artists from residencies at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation to engage in dialogue with the works.

Selected artists are invited to immerse themselves in the collection, choosing a dozen or so works with which they feel a “resonance”. These choices are enriched by their own work, so that a dialogue is established that transcends techniques, mediums and the barriers of time and space.

This exhibition is the fruit of a new partnership between the eac. and the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation residency program.

The main missions of the Albers Foundation are to preserve and promote the work of Josef and Anni Albers, and to support contemporary creation through residency programs in three countries (USA, Ireland, Senegal).
