Tarek Lakhrissi
Tarek Lakhrissi (b. 1992 in Châtellerault, lives and works in Paris) is a French artist whose transdisciplinary practice encompasses video, installation, performance, poetry and drawing. Inspired by literature and pop culture, his work explores the relationship between language, desire and power through a symbolic and affective approach. He has exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo, Migros Museum, Centre Pompidou, 22nd Biennale of Sydney, Hayward Gallery, Julia Stochek Foundation and Haus der Kunst (among others). He is represented by Galerie Allen and teaches at the ZHdK.
