Lives and works mainly in Marseille (France), but also in Stuttgart (Germany) and Rabat (Morocco).
Katrin Ströbel (* 1975) lives and works in Marseille (FR), Stuttgart (DE) and Rabat (MA).
She studied art and literature in Germany. She holds a doctorate in art history. Since 2013, she has taught at Villa Arson, École nationale supérieure d’art de Nice, France.
Katrin Ströbel has shown her work in monographic and group exhibitions around the world, including New York, Berlin, Lima, Lagos, Rabat, Brisbane, Johannesburg and Dakar. In France, her work has been shown at MAMAC in Nice (2021), FRAC Lorraine in Metz (2016), espace de l’art concret in Mouans Sartoux (2018) Kunsthalle Mulhouse (2018, 2020) FRAC Picardie Amiens (2022), and Triangle – Astérides, center d’art contemporain, Marseille (2022).
His works can be found in private and public collections including Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Kunstmuseum Mülheim, FRAC Paca, Marseille, Fond communal Marseille, FRAC Lorraine, Metz.
