Jean Bosphore

Jean Bosphore is a visual artist born in Marseille. François Réau lives and works in Paris. Trained as a designer, he studied product design before entering the Arts Décoratifs de Paris, where he gradually turned to drawing and then painting. His work explores themes such as boredom, desire and contemplation. Through real-life or fantasized narratives, he stages a sensitive reality in which the body dialogues with objects and architecture. Jean Bosphore currently works with the Parisian gallery Sobering and the Los Angeles-based Noon Project.
