Bendana-Pinel Contemporary Art
My solo show at Drawing Lab Paris gave me the opportunity to show how I explore drawing in three dimensions. The whole structure I had to put in place was really incredible, the space itself is charming, I worked with total freedom, and I had the institutional support to disseminate the exhibition not only to the Parisian public, but also to the international public through the catalog and by helping me apply for the Cité des Arts residency.
To this day, this exhibition continues to bounce back and forth in my career, in a very constructive way.
Débora Bolsoni holds a Master’s degree in Visual Poetics from the University of São Paulo (2014), and has been teaching contemporary art practices at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation since 2017. Her initial career was marked by her participation in Itaú Cultural’s first mapping of emerging production in 1998. She also took part in the 30th Panorama of Brazilian Art “Contradictoire” in 2007 and the Mercosur Biennial “Grito e escuta” in 2009. His most recent artistic residency took place in 2019 at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art – Gallerie La Box, Bourges. His works are part of important art collections, such as Pinacotecade São Paulo, São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, Figueiredo Ferraz Institute, Marcos Amaro Foundation, Pampulha Art Museum, among others.
