DARIA DE BEAUVAIS

Daria de Beauvais is a curator at the Palais de Tokyo. Previously, her experience has included work with institutions (the Biennale and Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice; the Museum of Modern Art and Independent Curators International in New York) and galleries (Zlotowski, Paris; Alessandra Bonomo, Rome; Lili Marleen, New York). She is also a freelance curator. She regularly sits on various committees and juries, and writes for a number of magazines and publications. Amongst her recent exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo: «Carte Blanche to Camille Henrot – Days are Dogs» and «Mel O’Callaghan – Dangerous on-the-way» in 2017; «Mika Rottenberg» and «Shana Moulton – Every Angle is an Angel» in 2016 ; «Céleste Boursier-Mougenot – acquaalta» in 2015; but also the collective exhibition «Inside», co-curated with Jean de Loisy and Katell Jaffrès in 2014. She is preparing for June 2018 a solo show with Laure Prouvost.

AGNES CALLU

Former student of the École Nationale des Chartres (Lenoir prize) and of the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP); Doctor of contemporary history from Sciences Po – Paris (Chaix d’Est Ange prize), accredited to supervise research at the EPHE, Agnès Callu is a historian and an art historian. Heritage curator, and permanent research associate at the CNRS (IHTP – History Institute of the Present Times), she published in 2016 Le Contemporain dessiné (with Christine Phal, DRAWING NOW PARIS – le salon du dessin contemporain), Gaëtan Picon, les Lettres et les Arts : dans l’atelier de la création [pref. Jean-Michel Leniaud], (Champion Edition), Autopsie du musée : étude de cas (1880-2010) [pref. Roland Recht], (CNRS Edition).

SANDRA HEGEDÜS

Founder of SAM Art Projets, Sandra Hegedüs was born in São Paulo, Brasil. She studied philosophy and film at the FAAP of São Paulo. In the beginning of the 80’s, she produced many performances as an artistic activist of the Paulist scene. She arrived in France in 1990 and developed a considerable portfolio of film documentaries and reports.

Sandra’s taste for art led her to begin her collection of contemporary art in 2005. Her desire to play a more important role in aiding artistic creation naturally led her to patronage. She created SAM Art Projects with her husband in 2009 with the goal of supporting contemporary art by both promoting the work of foreign artists in France and of French artists abroad through the yearly attribution of a prize and a residency program.

In 2013, SAM Art Projects became a nonprofit association, founded and supported by Sandra Hedegüs.

ELSY LAHNER

Elsy Lahner is among Austria’s leading experts on contemporary drawing and young Austrian art. Since 2011, she is curator for contemporary art at the Albertina. Some of her exhibitions in this time were a large retrospective with Gottfried Helnwein (2013), ‘Dreaming Russia’ (2013), ‘Eric Fischl. Friends, Lovers, and other constellations’ (2014), and a comprehensive exhibition on international contempory drawing, ‘Drawing Now: 2015’ (2015). She also started an intervention series with a younger generation of artists. She is on the advisory board for fine arts at the Federal Chancellery of Austria, and also jury member of the Klockerstiftung Innsbruck and of the Strabag Artaward International.

PHILIPPE PIGUET

Art critic and independent exhibitions curator, Philippe Piguet is the artistic director of Drawing Now Art Fair – the contemporary drawing Fair – and he is in charge of the program of the Chapel of the Visitation in Thonon-les-Bains (74). He just ended a long-term collaboration of 32 years with the magazine L’œil, and since 2002, he has regularly collaborated with the magazine art absolument, as well as a punctual collaboration with art press. He is also the author of numerous texts of catalogues. Since 1986, he has taught art history at the ICART – Institut supérieur des carrières artistiques (Superior Institution of Artistic Careers) – and he has developed a signi cant activity of conferences. In addition, he has just been appointed as the general curator of the Normandie Impressionniste 2020 festival.
